The Kikuyu Mountain Greenbul is a mountain-forest bulbul of eastern Africa. Clements separated it from Black-headed Mountain Greenbul in 2024 and treats it as ranging from eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo to central Kenya.
It has yellow-olive underparts contrasting with a pale gray upper breast, and a medium-gray head without a darker supercilium.
A Rwanda bird checklist describes it as common in the country’s mountain forests.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
