A small bird with an olive back and pale, yellowish underparts. It searches for caterpillars in the upper parts of trees during breeding and breeds in part of Canada’s boreal forest.
The back is olive, and the underparts are pale to yellowish. A grey crown and pale stripe above the eye help identify it.
During breeding, it moves slowly along high branches and searches the leaves for caterpillars and beetles. During migration and winter it may join mixed flocks of woodland birds.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
