This small mouse occurs in southwestern Western Australia. Its back is gray and its underside white. At a study site, it used dense vegetation and places such as burrows as daytime refuges.
Long, soft gray fur covers the back and face, while the underside is white. The tail has sparse hair and pink skin.
At Boonanarring Nature Reserve, the study found it using dense understorey. Daytime refuges included burrows, grass trees, tree hollows, and fallen logs.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
