The Little Cuckoo is a small reddish-brown cuckoo spread across Amazonia. It is often found in vine-filled thickets along water, forest edges, and cleared forest.
It is uniformly reddish brown with a grayish lower belly and a yellow bill. Its crest can be raised or flattened, and the long dark tail has white tips.
It often uses dense, vine-filled thickets beside water, cleared forest, and forest edges, usually only a few meters above the ground.
