Lake Victoria Pelomys is a small rodent known from islands in Lake Victoria. On Bugala Island, it has been found in scrub and at forest edges.
The specialist report describes it as a small creek rat.
On Bugala Island, records place it in scrub and at forest edges some distance from the nearest swamp. Breeding observations there include two lactating females in April.
