A tomb bat with specimen records from India and Pakistan. Sources describe its gray-brown coat and, in a genus account, large roosting groups.
Its back is pale gray-brown with whitish hair bases, while the underside is pale gray. Males have a throat pouch, which can be hard to see in some individuals.
This species may roost in groups of hundreds or even thousands. The genus account lists rock crevices, caves, tree trunks, and buildings as roost sites, with differences among species.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
