The Karoo Scrub Robin lives in dry shrubland in South Africa and southern Namibia. It searches for insects among low bushes and on the ground. The pool's older genus name is updated to Cercotrichas coryphaeus as used by the source.
Adults have a brown head and breast, rufous folded wings and a mostly reddish tail. An orange chin patch may be difficult to see.
In dry Karoo shrubland it moves among bushes and over the ground while searching for insects.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
