A forest bird of the Palawan islands with a green body, yellow throat, and blue wing markings.
It is green with a yellow throat, turquoise around the lores and eye, violet-blue on the cheek, and blue areas on the wings and tail. Females show less blue on the wings.
It eats fruit and seeds and may forage alone or join mixed-species flocks.
