Barratt’s Warbler is a small bird that keeps to dense shrubs and bracken in southern Africa. It searches for insects near the ground and is difficult to see.
It is brown above, with a reddish tinge on the rump and tail. The throat and belly are pale, with brown streaks on the throat and breast.
It stays in dense scrub along forest edges and streams and eats insects. It builds a cup-shaped plant nest on or near the ground.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
