The Cinnamon-throated Hermit lives in dry forest, savanna and woodland. It follows regular trap-lines between flowers and also eats insects. Its range includes separated areas in eastern Bolivia and Brazil, whose connection is uncertain.
It has tawny underparts and dusky green head, back and wings. A black facial mask is bordered by two pale stripes, and the elongated central tail feathers have white tips.
It forages along regular routes between flowers in dry or semi-humid forest, savanna and woodland, taking nectar and insects.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
