The Chilean Skua is a seabird of southern South American coasts and offshore waters. It sometimes takes food from other seabirds.
This is a large, mostly dark brown seabird. Some birds have rusty color on the sides and back of the neck, and plumage varies among individuals.
At the coast and offshore it eats fish and may pursue other seabirds until they drop or regurgitate food.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
