This woodcreeper climbs tree trunks. The eBird account describes forest as its main setting, and a 2012 checklist records one individual in Ecuador.
It is warm brown with streaks on the head and breast and a very long, strongly decurved bill.
It hitches up tree trunks like a woodpecker and is often seen following a mixed-species flock in forest. It sometimes enters adjacent second growth.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
