Peters's mouse lemur is a small primate of western Madagascar. At night it searches for fruit and insects in trees, usually foraging alone.
Its back is reddish brown and its underside is a lighter cream color. Dark eyebrow markings stand out above its eyes, its ears are tawny, and its tail is about twice the combined length of its head and body.
It is nocturnal and runs or leaps through trees, feeding mainly on fruit. It usually forages alone and may enter short daily torpor during the cool dry season.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
