A topi recorded in Tanzania (upper Ruaha River, around Lake Rukwa). The account places it in periodically flooded valley grassland and woodland, where it grazes floodplain grasses.
The posterior back is a bright reddish-bay, and the coat is described as paler overall than that of the Uganda Topi.
It uses valley grassland, parkland, and open woodland in the periodically flooded Rukwa Valley, grazing grasses on floodplains.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
