The korrigum is an antelope recorded in West African savannas. In northern Benin’s Pendjari National Park, observers documented herds moving in the dry season toward fresh grass and remaining water.
An 1895 account described a reddish-fawn coat with black patches on the face, shoulders, hips, and thighs. Its horns are thick, rising upward from the head before curving backward.
Observations in Pendjari National Park, Benin, during 1987–1990 found small groups joining in the dry season and moving toward fresh grass after fires and pools that remained. A herd of more than 120 was recorded in 1990; movements could reach about 100 km.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
