Thainycteris

• Collared Sprite Thainycteris aureocollaris

The collared sprite is a poorly known bat recognized by a golden-brown band around the throat. It was first recorded in China in Guizhou Province in 2015.

• Formosan Yellow-throated Bat Thainycteris torquatus

The Formosan Yellow-throated Bat occurs in Taiwan's forests. Its back has bronze-tipped fur, and a yellow-ochre band crosses the throat; a southern Taiwan survey often recorded it near streams.
