Keeshond
Temperament
Friendly, Lively, Outgoing
[2]Background and human relationship
Also called Wolfspitz, this Spitz is described within JKC’s German Spitz standard while AKC and others list Keeshond. It is not equated with the full German Spitz scope covering several sizes.
[1]Build and coat
A dense undercoat creates a full ruff and heavily coated tail carried over the back. Small pointed ears, a fox-like head and eye markings shape the expression.
[1]Colour and comparisons
Black-tipped silver-grey contrasts with a dark muzzle and ears and lighter ruff and shoulders. Eye-to-ear lines and brow shading form spectacles, rather than a uniform grey coat.
