Silver & Black

The Norwegian Elkhound Grey standard describes a gray coat with black tips and a clear, light-silver undercoat. The saddle is darkest, while the chest, mane, and shoulder-to-elbow harness marking are lighter; the muzzle, ears, and tail tip are black. This is a Norwegian Elkhound example, not a rule shared by the other linked breeds.
