Liver Brindle

The Greyhound Club of America’s explanatory guide describes liver brindle as browned striping on a red background. Coat color is immaterial under the AKC Greyhound standard. The AKC Plott standard also includes liver and chocolate among brindle factors. In contrast, the American Staffordshire Terrier standard says liver is not encouraged, so the same registration label does not imply identical treatment across breeds.
