White, Chocolate & Tan

The Rat Terrier standard requires white within the coat pattern, permits chocolate as a colour with or without tan points, and allows varied white piebald patterns. The Toy Fox Terrier standard explicitly describes White, Chocolate and Tan: a mostly chocolate head with tan markings and a body more than half white, with or without chocolate spots. Together the standards support the three colour components, while specifying different amounts and placement of white.
