The Cape grysbok is a small bovid from South Africa. It becomes active around dusk and eats grass and leaves from shrubs.
Its reddish-brown coat has white hairs mixed into the back and upper parts. Its ears are large, and only males have horns.
It is active from dusk into the night and is usually solitary. It grazes and browses on shrubs. When alarmed, it may run and then suddenly drop and freeze.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
