This leaf-nosed bat occurs in Cameroon, Nigeria, and Equatorial Guinea. A mountain survey in Cameroon reported that protecting cave roosts is important.
Forearm length was 43–47 mm in three bats captured in Cameroon: one male and two females.
The Cameroon study describes the species as using caves for roosts and depending on undisturbed cave sites. Capture records included a bat caught in a net set over a river.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
