Tarsius supriatnai occurs on the northern peninsula of Sulawesi, from the Gorontalo Isthmus west at least to Sejoli. The original description compares it with the close relative T. spectrumgurskyae; a later Gorontalo study recorded nest-tree use in both agricultural land and secondary forest.
Compared with the close relative T. spectrumgurskyae, it has a larger bare patch at the base of the ear and a longer tail.
In the Popayato-Paguat landscape study, nest trees included Bambusa in agricultural areas and Schizostachyum bamboo and Calamus rattan in secondary forest.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
