Bannerman's Weaver lives in mountains of eastern Nigeria and western Cameroon, using forest edges and shrubby openings.
Adults of both sexes have a yellow crown and underparts, green upperparts, a small black facial mask, and a pale area around the eye.
It occurs along mountain forest edges, in shrubby clearings and ravines, and in secondary scrub, usually in pairs or small parties.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
