Wilson’s spiny mouse is an East African spiny mouse studied using specimens from Tanzania. A thesis compared its physical traits and genetic information with those of a close relative.
Tanzanian specimens identified as A. wilsoni had gray to darker fur; most measured tails were about 4.5–5 cm long.
Specimens were collected in open semi-arid grassland and rice fields around Lower Moshi in northern Tanzania.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
