The Chestnut-crowned Bush Warbler is marked by its rufous crown. It breeds in mountain scrub, then moves downslope after breeding.
It is brown with a white throat, a pale buff brow, and a rufous crown. Its strong head pattern helps distinguish it from similar bush warblers.
It breeds in foothill and mountain scrub up to the treeline, especially dense patches with rhododendrons. After breeding it descends to lower foothills and scrubby lowland edges.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
