The Striolated Bunting is a small bunting of dry rocky ground and wadis. Its reddish wings and fine markings across the face and chest help distinguish it.
The head, neck, and chest are grayish, while the underside is rufous. The rusty wings, black-and-white facial lines, and dark upper bill with a yellowish lower bill are useful features.
It lives on dry rocky ground and in wadis, searching on the ground for seeds. It also takes insects during the breeding season and uses places with scattered shrubs.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
