The Mangrove Cuckoo is a secretive bird of coastal forests in the Caribbean and Central America. It searches among leaves for insects and small lizards.
Its back is grey-brown and its underside is pale. The rufous wings, long tail, and yellow eye-ring stand out.
It stays concealed in leafy cover and takes insects, spiders, and small lizards.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
