Swynnerton's Robin has a blue-grey back and bright orange breast. It searches for insects on the forest floor, tossing aside leaf litter as it forages.
The back is blue-grey. Orange on the breast fades to pale buff and then white at the vent; a small white bib, edged in black, separates the throat from the orange breast.
It is active by day and mainly hunts insects on the forest floor, tossing aside leaf litter. It sometimes follows army-ant swarms to catch fleeing insects.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
