The Pied Imperial Pigeon is a large, mostly white pigeon with black wing and tail tips. It gathers in island flocks and feeds mainly on fruit.
Its feathers are usually white, with black wing tips and black tips to the tail. The bill is bluish with a dark tip, and fruit can stain the head brown.
It forms large flocks on small offshore islands and eats fruit almost exclusively. Birds may fly to larger islands or mainland coasts each day to find food.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
