Boehm's bush squirrel is a small squirrel with orange and dark side stripes. It moves through trees and eats fruit and insects.
The back appears olive to greenish brown, with an orange midline from shoulder to rump and dark side stripes separated by pale bands. Stripe and coat patterns vary geographically.
It is diurnal and arboreal, moving along trunks and branches. Fruit and insects are reported in stomach-content studies from Uganda and DR Congo.
Nests made from fine twigs and grasses have been recorded in dense tangles about 2–8 m above the ground.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
