Upcher's Warbler breeds in dry scrub from the Middle East into Central Asia and winters in parts of East Africa. It is thought to feed mainly on invertebrates.
Adults in fresh plumage have a gray-brown back, a pale eyebrow line, and whitish underparts. The sexes look alike. A distinct white ring surrounds the eye.
During breeding it searches among low shrubs and leaves for food. It is thought to eat mainly invertebrates, but how much fruit contributes to its late-summer diet is not known.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
