The dusky-footed sengi is a small elephant-shrew recorded at several sites in Uganda. Sengis in the genus Elephantulus have elongated snouts and large eyes and ears.
Elephantulus sengis are small, with an elongated snout, large eyes and ears, and hind legs longer than their forelegs.
Uganda's assessment records this species in savanna or woodland. The genus account says sengis pick insects from vegetation or the ground.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
