The Brown Bush Warbler is a rare winter visitor in Hong Kong, where it hides in tall grass and reedbeds.
Its upperparts are an even warm brown, with a narrow pale eye-ring. The throat is unmarked, the chest has a paler brown wash, and the undertail coverts are plain.
It is very skulking and creeps along the ground or around plant bases. Hong Kong spring songs are recorded, but it is unclear whether these are migrants or wintering birds.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
