The Green Oriole has yellow-green plumage and reddish-brown eyes. It occurs across northern Australia, New Guinea, and nearby islands, and builds a cup-shaped nest high in the canopy.
Its plumage ranges from yellow-green to olive, with darker wings. The wing and tail feathers have pale tips, and the eyes are reddish brown. Females are duller and more heavily streaked than males.
It uses rainforest, wet sclerophyll forest, and dry rainforest thickets. It forages alone, in pairs, or in small groups from mid-level branches to the canopy, and suspends a cup-shaped bark-and-vine nest between canopy branches.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
