The Madagascar Yellowbrow is endemic to eastern Madagascar's rainforest. It searches for insects in dense undergrowth, often near the ground.
The crown, nape and back are dark olive-green, with a broad yellow eyebrow. The throat and upper breast are yellowish, the lower belly darker olive, and the bill and legs pale pink. The sexes are similar.
It probes leaf litter and low vegetation for small insects, walking and climbing through the undergrowth. It is often seen in pairs or family groups of three to five.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
