The Common Tetraka is a forest bird of Madagascar. It has dark brownish-green upperparts, a yellow throat, and a long bill. It gleans arthropods from branches and leaves, also eats seeds, and may join mixed-species flocks.
The head and upperparts are dark brownish-green, the throat is yellow, the centre of the breast is whitish, and the rest of the underparts are olive-green. The bill is long.
In dense vegetation it gleans arthropods from branches and leaves and may cling to vertical trunks. It also eats seeds and sometimes joins mixed-species foraging flocks.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
