This Southeast Asian bat has large, almost hairless ears and a hairy muzzle, except around the nostrils. In Cambodia’s Seima area, specimens were caught along trails in mixed forest.
The ears are large and almost naked, while the muzzle is hairy except for the nostrils. Dorsal hairs have black bases, pale-grey middle bands, and dark-grey tips.
In Cambodia’s Seima Biodiversity Conservation Area, specimens were caught in harp traps on trails through mixed evergreen and deciduous forest.
