One record from Crocker Range Park in Sabah concerns a bat identified as Hypsugo cf. vordermanni. The paper says that molecular data would be needed to confirm the species.
The captured cf. specimen had pale reddish-brown fur, large ears with a hatchet-shaped tragus, and translucent whitish wings that were grayer near the body.
The paper records one female caught near a stream beside a village road and suggests possible edge-space aerial foraging. This is an inference from the capture site, not direct tracking of feeding.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
