The Flores Jungle Flycatcher, Eumyias oscillans, was recorded on Flores and Sumbawa in Indonesia. A 1993 survey found birds flycatching in the forest understorey and midstorey, with occasional fruit in the diet.
In the 1993 comparison, males on Flores appeared darker than males on Sumbawa, with narrower pale wing fringes and a less distinct bright throat patch.
In the 1993 survey, birds recorded in primary semi-evergreen rainforest on Flores and Sumbawa foraged by flycatching in the understorey and midstorey, and sometimes ate fruit.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
