Gee's golden langur occurs in Assam, India, and neighbouring Bhutan. It lives in trees in forested habitats.
Its fur ranges from dark gold to creamy buff. The face is black, with a long pale beard. The coat is darker golden in winter and more cream-coloured in summer.
It is diurnal and moves among branches in the canopy. It tends to avoid people, which makes many behaviours difficult to observe in the wild.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
