Sharpe's Pipit lives in the short grasslands of Kenya's highlands. Its yellow belly and black streaks across the breast are useful field marks.
The belly is yellow, with black streaks forming a band across the breast. The back is brown with fine, scale-like markings. The sexes look similar, although females are duller.
It lives in short, high-altitude grassland and uses tussocks for nesting, foraging, and cover.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
