The Taiwanese gray shrew is a Taiwanese shrew with pale gray fur and a slender, projecting snout. It searches for small prey near the ground.
Its fur is light gray, its eyes are small, and its ears are rounded. A slender snout projects forward, surrounded by long whiskers; bristles cover about the basal two-thirds of the tail.
It is active on the ground in forests, grasslands, and farmland, feeding on insects, centipedes, earthworms, and other small invertebrates just below the soil surface.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
