Animals studied on Mt Dayman were described as having striking facial and head markings and a dark line down the back.
The Mt Dayman population was described with bold markings on the face and head and a dark stripe along the middle of the back, from between the ears to the rump.
It was reported from mid-montane forest on Garatin Ridge. Three animals were found by day in leaf nests placed in subcanopy branch forks; the report inferred that these nests were used for short stays.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
