The Streaky-headed Seedeater lives in woodland and scrub in southern Africa. Fine streaks on the crown and a white eyebrow help identify it, and it eats flowers, buds, seeds, and fruit.
It is mostly brown, with faint streaking above. Fine streaks on the crown and a prominent white eyebrow are visible field marks.
It eats flowers, buds, seeds, nectar, fruit, and insects, foraging on the ground and in foliage; it sometimes joins mixed-species flocks.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
