The Andaman Cuckooshrike is endemic to India's Andaman Islands and uses moist lowland and mangrove forest canopies. Males and females differ in their underpart pattern.
It is dark overall, with strong black bars on the white belly and vent. The male has a grey throat and upper breast, while the female is barred across all the underparts.
It uses moist lowland and mangrove forests, is usually seen in pairs, and sometimes joins mixed-species bird waves.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
