This cuckooshrike occurs in forests across Southeast Asia. The Singapore account lists it as a former resident there and now a very rare visitor.
Males are dark gray above with lighter gray underparts and belly. Females are similar but have barred underparts.
It uses forest and searches among branches and foliage for invertebrates. The Singapore account also describes forest as its habitat.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
