The White-eared Bronze Cuckoo lives in mountain forests of New Guinea and searches for insects in the middle levels of trees. White ear patches and green barring help identify it.
Adults have green upperparts, a crescent-shaped white ear patch, green barring on the white underparts, and a rufous wing patch. Females and juveniles differ in color.
It eats insects and caterpillars, foraging in the forest midstorey and often joining mixed-species feeding flocks.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
