The Senegal Parrot lives along savanna edges in western and central Africa. Its gray head and green and yellow body colors stand out.
Its head and bill are gray, its back, wings, and tail are green, and its belly ranges from yellow to orange. The green on the breast forms a V and varies among birds.
In the wild, it is seen alone or in pairs and sometimes in small flocks. It eats fruit, seeds, and grain, and nests in tree holes.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
