The Bemaraha woolly lemur is a nocturnal lemur recorded in the Bemaraha region of west-central Madagascar. Its published description of appearance is based on one adult male observed in the study.
The adult male described in the paper had brown-gray, slightly curled, woolly fur on the head and body and a dark chevron-shaped mark on the forehead above the face.
A short tracking study in October 1991 found the study group active only at night, using several sleeping sites and feeding on buds and young leaves.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
